17:00 Die neuen Altlasten feat. José Promis (trio), in the hall
Rainer mit AI and Micha aus Marzahn are not quite young anymore, but not so old that they can't be a burden. They do this with their own, not to say idiosyncratic, interpretations of songs, some of which are as old as they are. Support from musician friends is always welcome. They prefer to perform together with the Chilean golden throat José Promis. As a singer-songwriter, he writes his own songs in English or Spanish.


18:00 8zehn Saiten, outside
8zehn Saiten was born as a Corona project with the intention of keeping music alive, against all odds. The duo plays their favorite acoustic pieces from over twenty years of stage experience: from B to E, as with Beatles, Cash, Cohen, Dylan, Eagles and Simon & Garfunkel.

His music is for everyone who can use it: to think, to move on, to laugh and also to get excited. His credo: "The greatest revolution begins where the smallest heart knows love." And he conveys this authentically.

The singer/songwriter and word juggler writes most of his songs himself. Profound lyrics, well packaged in appealing melodies and just as well rounded off with a large portion of humor, hit the mark and take the audience on a journey through all emotions. The musician, who came to Berlin from the north of Germany, began writing his own lyrics and turning them into songs at an early age. He wants to share his thoughts and experiences with people and be understood. Consequently, he writes his songs almost exclusively in German. And interprets them with his voice, guitar and harmonica.
