Pauline Schulze - UNSEEN
The search for identity and inner essence
The Stage Gallery cordially invites you to the vernissage of Pauline Schulze's new exhibition!
Pauline Schulze's artistic practice is a process of self-discovery - a way of exploring her inner self and finding a new anchorage in the present. She deals with identity, her own and the role of women in general. Memory, everyday life and self-reflection merge in her works.
Her works are characterized by fragmented, seemingly abstract figures that appear deliberately incomplete - as if they had been torn out of a previous context. This detachment symbolizes the moment of freeing oneself from roles or structures that no longer fit in order to find an authentic place. She works with bold block colors, fabric fragments and collage elements that are woven together like memories.
What began as a personal process became something bigger: Her art is meant to be representative of all women, as an invitation to self-reflection, to rediscover one's own essence. It is a visual space of liberation and redefinition - an enrichment that gives her strength and that she wants to pass on.
