Unshaped_Ahead (Minimal/Ambient, Thessaloniki)

Unshaped_Ahead is the solo music project of violinist Dimos Vryzas from Thessaloniki, Greece. The project is based on minimalist melodies, ambient/noise sounds and improvisation. The violin is the main instrument. The songs are created through live looping. From time to time, other instruments, samples or spoken words are used during the performances. Improvisation is a central element of the project. Random "accidents", drone sounds and rhythm are also important "tools" of this music. Album release "Further Beyond": Further Beyond is the third album and second LP by Unshaped_Ahead. The album consists entirely of violin sounds processed with effects and loops to form the final result. While the minimalist ambient and experimental sound continues to dominate, Further Beyond is characterized by more complex compositions compared to the previous works.
