No other street in Berlin has as much to offer as the magnificent boulevard "Unter den Linden". It is home to some of the world's most famous sights, architectural masterpieces and historical abysses during the Nazi era.
Famous for its old lime trees, which form a fragrant green canopy in summer, this street is not only an impressive boulevard, but also a street that embodies the history and culture of Germany.
The best place to start your walk is at Alexanderplatz, where the street is still called Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. You then drift towards the Brandenburg Gate. You will pass some of Berlin's most important sights along the way:
- Berlin Television Tower
- the magnificent Berlin Cathedral
- the Lustgarten
- the State Opera House
- the newly opened Humboldt Forum
