On foot, by bike, on the Rhine
July 5 to 21, 2024
The cathedral is the main attraction in Cologne. But our city has many other facets:
New bike tours take you to places portrayed by Chargesheimer and August Sander. How the city has changed over the last 100 years becomes clear on the journey through time "From grocery store to supermarket" . Biographically, we follow in the footsteps of Dirk Bach, Karl Marx and Konrad Adenauer.
Thematically, we take a close look at our beloved FC, special trees, aviation stories and Cologne wine .
Back in the program is our "Art with a dog" format, which takes you through the city forest. New additions include excursions through Kalk, Deutz, Südstadt, Zollstock, Lindenthal, Eigelstein, Ehrenfeld and Hahnwald. We climb towers that are otherwise inaccessible and take a look at Cologne from above. Legends that triggered a frenzy of pilgrimage tourism in the Middle Ages are just as much a part of the program as our perennial favourite: the bunker bike tour. This time we start in the bunker at the Grossmarkt.
