Teodor Currentzis is a charismatic, eccentric and almost notorious for his interpretations, which bring completely new facets to the music in terms of tempo and dynamics. Now the audience favorite is returning to the Elbphilharmonie with his top international orchestra. In their luggage they have the "Ring without words", a kind of best-of of the most beautiful passages from Wagner's opera tetralogy "The Ring of the Nibelungs" - completely without singing.
