Vaihinger Stadtfest

A StadtFest by everyone FOR EVERYONE - Vaihingen can do it

With over 25,000 visitors, more than 80 participating clubs and organizations and 3 days of programming on 3 stages, organized by hundreds of volunteers, we have established a StadtFest in Vaihingen that is second to none and has received an exclusively positive response from the media and the public.

Volunteering and the coexistence of cultures, religions, clubs and schools are the basis for the Vaihingen StadtFest.

With this festival, we are committed to voluntary work, cohesion and democratic coexistence: everyone is welcome in Vaihingen, and the Vaihinger StadtFest is our example of this.

With the fourth Vaihinger StadtFest, the city park in Stuttgart's Filder district is once again transformed into a festival area for a whole weekend.

This event marks the establishment of a new festival in the district, which also builds on the 60-year tradition of Vaihingen's children's and local festivals. Actors from all parts of the city take part, reflecting the diversity of Stuttgart's largest district in terms of area. Most of the artists have a connection to the district. In the Stadtpark, visitors can look forward to a number of hands-on and information stands.

As a Fairtrade district, products from fair or local trade will also be used at the StadtFest. We also focus on sustainability and ecological awareness when it comes to tableware, and the festival grounds are easily accessible by public transport.

The festival is organized by Heimatring Stuttgart-Vaihingen/Rohr e.V., the working group of our associations, daycare centres, schools, religious communities and other institutions.
