Heavenly sounds: Allegro and Hallelujah- A concert evening with the ValdoQuartett

On February 21, 2025 at 7 pm, the ValdoQuartett invites you to an extraordinary concert evening in the heated Motherhouse Church of the Sisters of the Redeemer in Würzburg.

Under the title "Heavenly Sounds: Allegro and Hallelujah", the ensemble will present a varied program that will captivate classical music lovers and music enthusiasts.

The ensemble, which has performed on Mozart Day 2024 and in various churches in Würzburg, consisting of Stella-Verona Ulrich (soprano), Teresa Wind (flute), Benjamin Scheuermann (piano/organ) and Matthias Klepsch (violin), will focus on a broad repertoire of classical works in this concert, some of which have been arranged by the quartet itself. The renowned cellist Corinna Stüttgen will enrich the ensemble as a guest musician.

Pieces by great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Richard Strauss are the focus of the program. A special highlight will be the first movement of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, a work full of energy and sophisticated dialog between the instruments.

The ensemble will take the audience on a varied journey through different eras and styles - from Baroque to late Romanticism - moderated by the artists.
