Vanessa Hoffmann: „Strangers“ - Vernissage

Strangers take up a large part of our lives. You leave your house and a stranger walks past you. You take the train to work and are squeezed between 10 strangers. You sit in the park to read a book and you are accompanied by many strangers living their own lives, with their own stories and unique personalities. You yourself are a stranger in the eyes of other strangers. Strangers by Vanessa Hoffmann is a love letter to the solace she found in the company of strangers after life-changing events left her feeling isolated. Through her colorful, illustrative hidden object paintings, she shows how strangers impact our lives in the smallest moments.

Vanessa Hoffmann is a freelance illustrator from Florida, USA, now based in Munich, Germany. Her illustrative art is depicted through hidden object images and shows the diversity, complexity and stories of all kinds of people and different characters in today's society.
