VELVET RUSH take us back to the early years of rock music and bring pure rock'n'roll, gritty hard rock with rootsy vintage classic rock, psychedelic rock, mixed with a lot of soulful sex appeal and incomparable vocal hooks in a refreshing way and take the audience's breath away. From the very first minute, the spark is ignited at every concert and transforms every venue into a grooving, rocking hall. With their unique sound and the incredible lead singer Sandra Lian, who not only inspires with her voluminous, (t)snotty and unkempt energy as a rock singer, but also with her impressive powerful stage presence, they attract the attention of fans and critics alike.

Dennis Henning on guitar, Tim Black on bass and Tom Zeschke on drums, none of them unknown, provide front woman Sandra Lian with the 70s orange blazed carpet on which the rock diva has already driven some people crazy with her performance. Their chemistry on stage is unmistakable and ensures that every performance is an unforgettable pure rock'n'roll experience.

The quartet writes incomparable and unforgettable songs that make no secret of their love for the forefathers of the genre and they stick to what they do best: electrifying, rousing and technically flawless rock! The Hamburg quartet manages to sound like a forgotten great, exciting 70s hard rock band without ever getting boring. Hard bluesy rock paired with retro sounds, all in a modern sound guise.

All songs were recorded in the legendary Chameleon Studios in Hamburg under the direction of the renowned successful producer Eike Freese (Credits Eike Freese: Deep Purple, Simple Minds, Slash from Guns'N'Roses, Status Quo and many more).

The result is music with snappy melodies, powerful rock guitars, the singer's dirty, powerful rock voice and everything together is catchy, original, playful, top-class and incredibly playful and relaxed. And it cannot be emphasized often enough: The incredible voice of singer Sandra Lian makes the whole thing perfect!

VELVET RUSH's message is clear: to look forwards, not backwards and to ignite the fire in their blood and bring it to the stage. They have the bite, the will and the passion for music in their bones. Jay The Bird

The 4 of Jay The Bird want to make their audience feel the need to simply nod their heads to the beat. How do they do it? With simple and honest blues rock and influences from pop and funk. Unofficially, the band has been around for a while. They have played at several private events, back then without a band name, and impressed with their authentic sound.

The 4 then played their first official gig as Jay The Bird at Cascadas in January 2020. The consistently positive feedback from the audience motivated the four to stay on the ball and take their music out into the world.
