Twelve years after professional criminal Trojan had to flee Berlin, his search for jobs brings him back to the city. He has hardly any money left and urgently needs a new job. Berlin has changed, Trojan's old contacts are no longer much use. And his maxim of only doing cash jobs can hardly be upheld in an increasingly complex digitalized world.

It takes some time before he is finally offered the prospect of a lucrative job through the intermediary Rebecca. A painting by Caspar David Friedrich is to be stolen from a museum. The coup brings Trojan together with the getaway driver Diana, his former companion Luca and the young Chris. The project looks promising. But the obscure client Victor has his own plans for the painting. Soon it's less about the money and more about getting away with it.
