Not all children grow up with the same opportunities and starting conditions. This is evident in pocket money and clothing, in school and summer vacations, in housing and career choices. But why is that the case? In her play 'LEBENSLAUF', Verena Brakonier explores possible hurdles and asks, together with the young audience, what needs to change to make the environment and the world fairer.

The dancer and theater maker grew up in her parents' car factory. In her art, she campaigns against classism - in other words, against prejudice or discrimination against people with less money and educational opportunities. Her new work is a mixture of dance, theater and videos with her own and invented stories.
