Around 30% of the archive holdings of the ZADIK | Zentralarchiv für deutsche und internationale Kunstmarktforschung originate from female protagonists who supported artists and art movements with their networks and activities - many of them to this day.

🔍 The exhibition focuses on CONTINUUM - Verein zur Förderung der Kunst von Frauen e. V., which, alongside other initiatives, has been intensively involved in the promotion, research and mediation of female artists since 1985. It was co-founded by the gallery owner Barbara Gross - a protagonist who, from 1988 onwards, also campaigned for the visibility of women in art in her Munich gallery for over 30 years. She pushed for a stronger presence of female artists in the art market and in exhibitions and created a network that enabled female artists to connect with each other. The archive of the Barbara Gross Gallery (A 113), from which the exhibition emerged, is kept at ZADIK.
