Vernissage: Dirk Fahle "stillLeben"

Brackel. On Sunday, June 22, the artist Dirk Fahle will open his current exhibition entitled "stillLeben - New Answers to Old Questions" at 11:00 a.m. in the balou gallery of the balou cultural center. "The old genre of still life is examined against a historical background and produces new images. New expectations are organized. New technical possibilities characterize the design of the exhibits," reveals the Dortmund artist. Dr. Rudolf Preuss will provide the introduction. Harald Schollmeyer (piano) will accompany the event with music.
The exhibition also includes a gallery talk on August 31 at 4:00 pm. In a discussion with Dr. Rudolf Preuss and Dirk Fahle as well as the audience, the difficult language of art will be deciphered. The aim is to offer not only those interested in art, but also the "average Joe" the opportunity to enter into a dialog at eye level and thus make art more understandable and accessible. Because: "Art is not just for experts, but for all people who are curious about the world," says Dr. Rudolf Preuss, organizer of the project.
The free exhibition by Dirk Fahle can be visited during the opening hours of café balou (Tues-Fri: 14:30-18:00) until September 11, 25. No prior registration is required.
