Vernissage: Fotoplakat-Ausstellung „Die Erwartung“ – Andreas Bohnenstengel

In the organizer's words:

Have you ever seen these posters? Somewhere? Perhaps while cycling past?

In spring 2020, the Covid pandemic led to measures that radically changed our everyday lives. Fear and loneliness were omnipresent. Munich photographer Andreas Bohnenstengel turned the city into his gallery: he selected photos from his archive that were taken long before coronavirus, printed them as DIN A1 posters and put them up wildly to create a visual counterweight. The poster series "Die Erwartung" shows scenes that were no longer possible during Corona - situations in which people meet. The choice of motifs was based on conversations about the changes in everyday life and people's emotions, which he conducts at Baldeplatz as part of his "Bridge Gallery".

Vernissage on Friday, October 11, 2024, 7:00 pm

Welcome:
Antonia Heigl, Head of Urban Area South (MVHS), Chair Guardini90

Followed by a discussion between the artist, the audience and the philosopher Dr. Paulus Kaufmann

Printed posters signed by the artist will be available to take away free of charge at the beginning of the vernissage (limited edition).
