Vernissage "Trouvaille"

In the organizer's words:

Trouvaille

Sandra Prengel / Klaus Dupont / Multimoni / Sebastian Osterhaus / Steffen Lang

Nature and fantasy in dialog from 22.11. to 22.12. in the artrelations gallery Berlin.

The exhibition "Trouvaille" shows very special finds. Works of art with extraordinary imagination and creativity. Objects, drawings and photography that transport you into a mystical world of nature and animal life.

Klaus Dupont's stylistically unique works are inspired by his fascination for the so-called Wunderkammer exhibits of the 17th century, in particular the works of the Grünes Gewölbe in Dresden. The Dupont sculptures are not just a modern interpretation of the models, but the realization of the Berlin artist's imagination, his sense of humour and his passion for collecting. They are also testimonies to the finest craftsmanship and, of course, each work is unmistakably unique.

Sebastian Osterhaus provides an insight into the world as he perceives it. This is so challenging in its diversity that the boundaries between humans, animals and nature merge seamlessly. To express this, Sebastian Osterhaus uses cross-media and cross-genre means of representation. His amusing animal drawings, whose protagonists display a very special human attitude, are drawn in extraordinary detail and are rich in symbolism.

With her "Persona" project, Berlin photographer Sandra Prengel has developed a completely new kind of animal photography. She stages the animals like human models. With a great deal of patience and empathy, she gives her subjects a soul and a personal character.

The Berlin artist Multimoni gives animals a voice. In her drawings, she shows the dangers of environmental pollution and the scarcity of living space for animals. The protagonists are very creative and engaging in their struggle for survival. The drawings also always tell fantastic stories.

Trained as a master goldsmith, Steffen Lang from Saarbrücken has moved more and more towards glass processing in recent years. Inspired by microcosms observed in nature, such as moss and coral, the objects are made using traditional lampworking techniques and are the product of a creative process that moves from craft to art. Protected under glass, the small scenic worlds, which have no direct connection to reality outside the glass bell jar, are fascinating.

The vernissage will take place on November 21 from 18:00 to 21:00. We look forward to your visit!
