VERNISSAGE "Woman King" - Starke Frauen in Hamburg

Behnaz Vassighi has been organizing exhibitions for International Women's Day at the Kulturladen St. Georg as part of the Hamburg Women's Festival for 20 years. In recent years, these have been joint exhibitions with artists from different countries presenting their works in painting and photography.

This year's exhibition "Woman King " - photographed and designed by Behnaz Vassighi - is a tribute to strong women who enrich the city of Hamburg with their art, their commitment and their projects. The exhibition shows female artists who have already been active in the Kulturladen St. Georg or the Hamburg Women's Festival, as well as women who have had a lasting impact on the city with their outstanding initiatives and leadership positions. Whether art, culture or social projects - they all stand for female power, inspiration and change.

The opening will be accompanied by music.

The vernissage will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 3 p.m. Free admission. The exhibition will be on display until Friday, April 25, 2025.
