VERTANZSTALTUNG No.2
Dance Tea & Prosecco | Guest performance "(a)ROUND" by VAYA
A theater blind date? An international guest performance in the middle of a retirement home? Experiencing dance together and with all your senses? Anyone curious about these questions is invited to the theater hall of the Haus an der Rümannstraße on March 30. VERTANZSTALTUNG is the second public event as part of the "Tanztee & Prosecco" project: the retirement home will be transformed into a place of cultural encounter for all Munich residents. The hidden theater hall in the north of Schwabing opens its doors to interested audiences from the city and the home itself. A different guest performance is invited each time. We enjoy the performance together, get moving ourselves and toast together - with or without Prosecco, but definitely with live music!
Our mission
- We invite the city's theater audience to new venues and encounters!
- The retirement home should become an artistic co-working space for everyone!
- Senior citizens need innovative cultural offerings and a say!
Guest performance | No.2:
"(a)ROUND" by VAYA
Where do I stop? Where does what surrounds me begin? (a)ROUND is a dance piece about turning, infinity and the question of beginning and end. Two bodies interweave, forming a fragile, balanced system, almost seeming to hypnotize each other and the audience with their constant revolutions. They challenge physical limits, engage in a dialog with gravity, centrifugal force and balance. Tina Halford and Sergey Poltavsky dance a physical reflection on the fleeting, fragile and yet powerful nature of life.
Program Overview
Maximum 70 guests: 35 residents of the retirement home and 35 theatergoers from outside.
