Scottish duo Clouds—Liam Robertson and Calum Macleod—craft a form of techno that is intense, immersive, and constantly evolving. Since their 2016 release on Electric Deluxe, they’ve focused their DJ sets around their own unreleased material, blurring the lines between performance and production. Their sound fuses elements of Hardcore, Jungle, Gabber, and Hardstyle into dense, post-industrial compositions that balance euphoria with dread. Rather than relying on stylistic clichés, Clouds distill the emotional core of these genres into something raw and forward-looking. On Saturday, August 9th Clouds is on the ROBUS floor for VERTX and is joined by the likes of by Randomer, KTK, and Parallx. The SUMME floor is commandeered by Lena Willikens, AliA and more while on the OPAN floor we host Julia Govor, Rosati and more.
