In the 46th year of the band's existence, US power metallers VICIOUS RUMORS are not only coming across the pond with a rejuvenated line-up, but also with a brand new studio album. With their 14th album "Devils Asylum" (released via SPV), the veterans of the Bay Area scene seamlessly build on the successes of recent years. Powerful neckbreakers that are looking forward to a live baptism of fire. In addition, mastermind Geoff Thorpe and his men naturally present a number of classics from their band history, such as 'Don't Wait For Me', 'Digital Dictator', 'Lady Took A Chance', 'On The Edge', 'Abandoned' and 'Down To The Temple'. A wild ride through the band's history peppered with classics.

The two remaining original musicians Geoff Thorpe (guitars) and Larry Howe (drums) celebrated huge successes all over the world, especially until the mid-nineties, before the death of exceptional singer Carl Albert (1995) pulled the plug on the band completely. In the years that followed, the two musicians managed to keep the band alive, but due to constantly changing singers and fellow musicians, the former success never returned. But Geoff and Larry never gave up. Since their 2011 album "Razorback Killers" at the latest, the dark years are over. Celebrated by the press and fans, VICIOUS RUMORS have been touring Europe, North America and Japan regularly ever since. With a new record in their luggage, they will now play a number of club shows before coming to Europe for more festivals every summer. And if there's one thing the band from the famous Bay Area can rely on, it's their loyal fan base.

"It's just a great honor to still be able to record relevant records and tour the world after such a long time," says Geoff Thorpe. "We're noticeably on the home stretch, but we're enjoying it all the more and celebrating even harder with our fans. We don't take it for granted, it's a privilege. We love what we do. And we will once again leave our metallic hearts on the European stages."

At the show in Frankfurt, they will be accompanied by one of the hottest steel smiths from Germany: GENERATION STEEL. The band combines traditional Teutonic steel with powerful US power metal with an anthemic character. Led by guitarist Jack The Ripper and singer Dirk Meyer, they and their traditional heavy metal have been an integral part of the metal landscape since 2019. Last May saw the release of their third, highly acclaimed album "Limitless".
