This concert is part of the "Unidos" album release tour. Victor and his ten-piece "Chilean Large Band" will present the songs from his debut album with a large line-up.

The German-Chilean Victor Rodriguez fascinates with his unmistakable mixture of pop, reggaetón and elements of Chilean nueva canción: hard beats and catchy melodies meet fragile tones and traditional instruments such as charango and panpipes, which make the vastness of the Andes and the history of Chile tangible.

Victor has a personal connection to the Nueva Canción movement, as his father was a spokesman for this socio-political movement who opposed the Pinochet dictatorship and eventually had to flee into exile. In his debut album "Unidos", Victor deals with the death of his father and allows his legacy and his own relationship to his native Chile to live on through music. With the central message "Vamos Unidos", he takes up the ideals of the Nueva Canción: Friendship, love, hope and equality.

This message is palpable at his live shows: together with ten musician friends, Victor brings this atmospheric yet catchy music to life. In addition to the rhythm section and backing vocalists, traditional Chilean instruments such as the charango, quena and zampoña are also part of the ensemble. With his inviting stage presence and authentic passion, Victor creates an emotional, unforgettable experience for his audience that tells his personal story and celebrates the power of Chilean culture and music.
