We are constantly being robbed of time, constantly waiting for someone and something. Five years to be precise. Life is waiting. If not for the end of a wash cycle or the end of the night, then we are waiting for death. A fag, a stopgap - can I? As a foetus, as a child, as a young adult, we meander through the years of life. Waiting for the next wait? Waiting for what is not there, no longer there, but is so deafeningly loud. Searching for answers, filling the gaps, we recognize, even in humour, how nothing will ever lead to certainties.

An evening about absence, dependence and insurmountable loss of control that tells us. Author Paulina Czienskowski and theater maker Lena Brasch, who directs at the Berliner Ensemble and Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, among others, form the team of the new world premiere at the Theaterschiff. With musical narration by the artist Nalan.
