"Four Seasons Festival 2025" by neues tanzen in Starnberg

The neues tanzen dance school invites you to the multi-day "Four Seasons Festival" in the Schlossberghalle Starnberg in 2025. During two festival blocks - from March 27 to 30, 2025 and on July 19 and 20, 2025 - 400 students from the district of Starnberg will present four different interpretations and collaborative projects on the Four Seasons.

A special highlight is "Four Seasons - Recomposed" - a cooperation project between neues tanzen and the Academy for Contemporary Dance & Ballet of the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz (AT) as well as professional dancers from Berlin, Vienna and Munich, choreographed to the music of Antonio Vivaldi, reinterpreted by Max Richter. The performances will take place on March 29, 2025 at 19:00 and March 30, 2025 at 12:00. The freelance dancers from the independent scene originally come from the district of Starnberg and have their "dance roots" at neues tanzen. The dancers from the Academy for Contemporary Dance & Ballet come from Austria, Ukraine, Serbia, Italy and Slovenia.

"Four Seasons - Recomposed" brings together young dancers from different generations and educational backgrounds and creates a platform for artistic dialog and cultural exchange. The collaboration enables the creation of a professional stage piece in cooperation with various dancers from pre-training and the freelance dance scene.

With the "Vier Jahreszeiten Festival 2025", neues tanzen aims to strengthen contemporary dance in the region, promote up-and-coming talent and support cultural exchange.
The festival aims to make a long-term contribution to establishing Starnberg as a vibrant location for contemporary dance.
