Vierte Schicht mit Thorsten Kosera – einem Wolfsburger Abenteurer

Our next Fourth Shift will take place on Wednesday, May 14 at 7 pm: Of the "Commode 2000", hurdy-gurdies and volcanoes - a conversation with Thorsten Kosera, a Wolfsburg adventurer.

Luisa Aguiar, a long-time companion of the Kunstverein and present at every edition of the "Vierte Schicht", drew our attention to her husband Thorsten Kosera - and indeed a colorful life story was revealed when we got to know each other: It takes us back to the folkies in the Wolfsburg subculture of the 70s in the self-managed youth center "Commode 2000". Then he began studying theology and German studies - and ended up unexpectedly as a street musician on the hurdy-gurdy and later in front of countless guitars in his own store. Then it was to be a new beginning as a self-supporter - and ended on a volcanic island in the Atlantic that was almost untouched at the time. In keeping with our "Auf Reisen" exhibition, which has just come to an end, we will be accompanying Thorsten Kosera on a wild ride through 50 years of contemporary history!

The event will take place at the bar in the Kunstverein Wolfsburg, entrance via the staircase in the rear left tower. As always, there will be music and drinks to round off the evening with good conversation. And of course: Free admission!
