Vincent Kliesch was born in Berlin-Zehlendorf, where he still lives today. In 2010, he launched his first successful thriller series with the bestseller "Die Reinheit des Todes" (The Purity of Death), with more to follow. Vincent Kliesch wrote the "Auris" series about forensic phonetician Matthias Hegel based on an idea by his friend Sebastian Fitzek.
