Three days full of free jazz, improvised music and experimental sounds - in the heart of Dortmund's Nordstadt district! You can expect 14 inspiring concerts, fascinating sound experiments, rousing live DJ sets late into the night and impressive visual art.

Internationally renowned formations will be performing on two open-air stages and in the Parzelle im Depot - including artists from the USA, Great Britain, Portugal, Denmark and Argentina. In addition to top-class ensembles, the festival also presents Magic Ensembles: spontaneous encounters between festival musicians and regional guests who create new worlds of sound live. This is where up-and-coming talents who are already causing a stir meet experienced greats and influential personalities from the scene (75 years and up) to redefine musical boundaries together.

Look forward to a special festival atmosphere, delicious Syrian specialties and refreshing drinks. There will be space for encounters, exciting discussions and creative exchange in front of and behind the stages - perfect for all those who love free jazz, improvisation and experimental music and are curious about new perspectives.
