Antonio Vivaldi: "The Four Seasons in Janoska Style"

The Janoska Ensemble is classically trained, but is so active in the polyglot musical language that it transcends all genres with its "Janoska Style", which is completely committed to improvisation. Whether jazz, classical, pop or gypsy set pieces, the four musicians have a natural feel for rhythm, timing and supreme musicality. This enables them to communicate with each other at lightning speed and to enjoy making music with such virtuosity that they really let it rip! To mark the 300th anniversary of Antonio Vivaldi's legendary "Four Seasons", the ensemble is now tackling these masterpieces in 2025. Logically, the Janoskas make the dance parts even more colorful, even more spirited, even more exuberant, the quiet movements even more intimate, even more expressive. However, the Janoska Ensemble adds an additional composed passage to each movement, which easily trumps the level of difficulty of Vivaldi's violin concertos. It's absolutely thrilling how two violins, double bass and piano can give a classic a contemporary, modern form of expression!
