The trio consisting of saxophonist Daniel Schnyder, bass trombonist and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra member Stefan Schulz and virtuoso jazz violinist Adam Taubitz promises a musical whirlwind. The performance of the three furious improvisers, who do not deny their "classical" roots, is a combination of the celebrated program "Handel in Harlem" and the fresh production "Vivaldi Revisited". This reinvention of Handel's Italian colleague focuses on arias from Vivaldi's numerous operas, which the trio transforms in an unexpectedly theatrical way. Daniel Schnyder hosts the evening, which moves light-footedly between drama, opera and concert music.
