The eagerly awaited fourth volume in the crime series about the "Åre Murders" is now finally available in German translation, and author Viveca Sten is once again stopping off in Erfurt as part of her reading tour of Germany.
A freezing cold week in January in the Swedish mountain village of Åre: six students are spending their skiing vacation in a remote vacation home. They party wildly, play "truth or dare" and get involved in increasingly risky downhill maneuvers. One morning, a young woman from the group lies dead in the icy snow. Was it an accident or cold-blooded murder? With every unanswered question, the tension among the friends increases. They all play each other off against each other, no one can credibly explain what happened that fateful night. The inhabitants of Åre are also suspicious: the reckless townspeople have long been a thorn in their side. Hanna Ahlander and Daniel Lindskog face their toughest case yet. After all, how do you get to the truth when everyone is lying?
