Dear jazz fans!

It is a special pleasure for us to invite you today to the next concert in the FEEL FREE TO IMPROVISE! series.

On February 4 at 8 pm at the Alte Druckerei in Ottensen

together with his favorite instrumentalists, Volkan Bajdar will present his view of "jazz" - swinging, grooving and always full of emotion. Whether the songs come from pop and soul or are classical standards: the musicians let themselves go, become one with the music and give an insight into their souls. "Music comes from God and anything is possible if you surrender and allow yourself to take the risk," says Volkan, who opens himself up to the universe here and places himself completely at its service. It will be interesting to see what inspirations flow into this five-piece band.

Volkan Baydar (vocals, piano), the frontman of the Hamburg cult duo Orange Blue She's Got That Light, has long since established a firm place for himself in the German music scene. With over a million records sold, millions of streams and countless concerts, the songwriter, composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist has been delighting his fans at home and abroad for more than 20 years. Anyone who has experienced him on stage knows: he is pure energy - a musical volcano.

His great fellow musicians are: Patrick Pagels (guitar), Tadeusz Jakubowski (alto saxophone), Heinz Lichius (drums), Felix Behrendt (double bass).
