"Vom Himme hoch" - Eine bayerische Weihnachtskantate

Christmas grounds us, brings us back to family and friends, to our roots. The musician and composer Andreas Begert from Erding reflects this bond in his work "Vom Himme hoch", a Christmas musical composition in the Bavarian language.

With the first bars, a magical journey through a Bavarian musical "winter wonderland" begins: warm, traditional and heartfelt, but also joyful and full of positive energy. Zwiefacher and polka merge with classical music and catchy melodies. Begert composes intuitively, guided by his feelings - sometimes soft and soulful, sometimes rousingly Bavarian. He harmoniously combines the Bavarian dialect with the biblical Christmas story.

He is accompanied by four professional classical singers, a virtuoso violinist and cabaret artist Bewie Bauer, also from Erding, as narrator. Together they create a unique work of art: a Christmas story in Bavarian, set to classical music, full of feeling and Bavarian charm.
