Singer-songwriter Katharina Kollmann follows her longing for a better world with politically poetic guitar tracks.

Katharina Kollmann has been releasing her music under the name Nichtseattle since 2017. The singer-songwriter, who grew up in Berlin-Karlshorst, had previously released English-language music under the name Lake Felix, but began writing music in German with Nichtseattle.

After her first, self-released album Wendekid (2019), her second album, Kommunistenlibido, was released in 2022 on the Staatsakt label and brought her a lot of attention. In April 2024, the album Haus. 12 Songs, which she recorded with her band and choir. 12 new songs about precarity, about necessary solidarity, about clans and necessary shelters.

On 15.11.2025 Katharina Kollmann comes to Dessau-Roßlau with her solo program and honors us with sly songs about self-housing.
