"Vom Sommernachtstraum ins Morgenland"

From 30 April to 16 May, the Carl Brandts Haus Central Library is presenting an exhibition organized by the Opus 125 e.V. symphony orchestra as part of a special concert event.
In workshops, pupils from Mönchengladbach explored fairy tales and legends in classical music. Under the guidance of Javier Álvarez Fuentes and Dortmund scenographer Paula Vollmer, they developed creative interpretations that were created in the Wandelsaal and MakerSpace of the Central Library.
These will be incorporated into the stage design of the concert, which will be performed on May 17, 2025 at 7:30 pm in the Kaiser-Friedrich-Halle. Tickets for the concert can be reserved by emailing info@opus125.de
The students' ideas and models can be seen on the plaza of the Carl Brandt Central Library from April 30 to May 16.
