The exhibition History(s) of Tanzania addresses the violent appropriation of "objects" during the colonial era in different ways.

What curatorial and artistic strategies can be used to address the gaps left by the theft of cultural belongings during the colonial era? Together with representatives of Tanzanian communities and artists in the exhibition, the discussion will provide insight into the sensitive processes behind this exhibition. What role do media and artistic means play in these narratives?
