From all sides of the river is a reference to the authors' origins. The Rhine as a connecting element between Düsseldorf and Cologne.
A kinship in verse and in water - which makes the differences between the generations clear and yet does not try to break them up.

The authors are:

Frank Schablewski
Born in Hanover in 1965 and grew up there. From 1985 he studied fine arts and literature at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf. Since then he has created interdisciplinary works with artists on his own poems. Since 1987 dance studies in Germany, Switzerland and France. This has led to an intensive exploration of dance and language as a poet and performer with dancers and choreographers. His choreographed poems have been shown at modern dance festivals in Germany, France and Spain. Literary publications since 1993. Since 2001 longer stays abroad. In addition to his literary work, he has written catalog texts and literary art speeches, as well as translations from English and Hebrew. Recently, composers have become increasingly interested in his lyrical work and exhibition organizers have recently been interested in installations because of the interface between writing and signs. Since 2016, he has been invited to give poetry lectures and readings at universities in Istanbul, Wroclaw, Budapest and Trieste. Lives in Düsseldorf.

Nico Feiden
Born in Zell (Mosel) in 1993. After long journeys through Europe, he now lives and works as a freelance writer in Cologne.
Various publications in anthologies, radio reports & TV reports on SWR, ORF and 3Sat. His poetry collection "Blaue Wildnis" was published by Elifverlag in 2016. 2017 "Das Echo des Weines" was published by RMV-Verlag. 2017 Scholarship holder at the Dante Institute Florence Winner of the Poetry Prize of the City of Baden (near Vienna).
In 2018, his debut novel "Sterben können wir später" was published by Astikos-Verlag.
In 2019 he was part of the Printemps Poetique Transfrontalier scholarship.
His new theater version of Borchert's "Draußen vor der Tür" premiered in Cologne.
From 2021 - 2022 he received the MKW scholarship from the Cologne district government.
2023 saw the publication of his novel "Nur noch einen Track lang träumen"
In 2024, his poetry collection "Verwüstung" was published by Do the Taboo.
Feiden is currently working on a series for a streaming service.
He is the organizer of the reading series "Quadrat im Kreis", which will take place monthly in Cologne from May 2024.

Bryan Kessler
is an author, musician and unconventional all around artist from Cologne. He works as a mixing and mastering engineer at High Seat Studios, runs a label and book publishing company called "Do The Taboo" and a creative space & concept store called The Factory, which hosts readings, exhibitions and parties.
Since his early teenage years he has published in various poetry magazines, zines and books. Among others, he was part of the Berlin founded Zeitlosschrift and published his first poetry book "Wahngold" together with Rick Reuther in 2009 at Wendepunkt Verlag, followed by the book " Pollygamie".
His latest volume of poetry is a collection of monographs and was published by his own publishing house in 2023. Kessler is currently working on a novel and several new pieces of music.
