Von Drachen und Kronen: Mit dem Fernglas rund ums Zeughaus

In the organizer's words:

The German Historical Museum offers a great discovery tour around the oldest building on Unter den Linden as well as a workshop in the museum rooms. In the first part of the program, visitors equipped with binoculars explore the armoury from the outside. The focus is on the numerous figures and you can puzzle over what "stuff" was kept in the rooms. We discover the coats of arms adorned with crowns and learn how someone could be crowned king. We then set off in search of dragons, mermaids and other mythical creatures hidden all over the arsenal façade. After a short break for a bite to eat, we will work creatively on what we have seen by making things and playing games. Dragons can be defeated with self-made crowns and colorful coats of arms.

As the tour takes place outside, we ask that you dress appropriately for the weather.
