From G to G - A bike tour from Großzschocher to Gohlis

Experience Leipzig's green diversity on two wheels! Our leisurely bike tour leads from the church square of the Apostle Church in Großzschocher to the idyllic beer garden under the ginkgo tree at the Budde House. We discover nature, culture and history on around 11 kilometers - with time to enjoy, marvel and exchange ideas.

Starting point: Church square of the Apostelkirche in Großzschocher
Finish: Beer garden under the ginkgo tree at the Budde-Haus

Highlights of the route: Elsterflutbett, Leipziger Auwald, Scheibenholz racecourse, Sachsenbrücke, Palmgartenwehr, Festwiese/RedBull-Arena, Rosenthal, Zooschaufester, Gohliser Schlösschen

There will be a relaxing break at the island pond in Clara Zetkin Park - if you like, you can get an ice cream on the Sachsenbrücke. There will be a second break at the zoo shop window.

Once you reach your destination, food and drinks are available - this offer is on a self-pay basis. Water is provided free of charge.

You can relax in the adjoining art garden of the Budde House or experience a guided tour of the audio tour "OHRlebnis" - an audio walk through stories and poems - this offer is free of charge

Distance: 11 km (plus return journey)
Travel time: approx. 2 hours including breaks

The offer is open to people of all ages.
As an alternative to cycling, it is possible to travel to the Budde House by car or public transport and meet the group there. There is no visitor parking available at the destination.
