Moderation: Fabienne Imlinger

Author and literary scholar Fabienne Imlinger is part of the queerfeminist collective that runs the "glitch bookstore" at Barerstraße 70 in Munich. Together with the Literaturhaus, she is hosting an open reading circle to discuss Susan Sontag and her texts. The focus will be on Sontag's essays "Notes on Camp", "On Photography", "Aids and its Metaphors" and "Looking at the Suffering of Others", texts that shaped the social debate on art or illness, war or photography during Sontag's lifetime. In what ways do they still enable us today to critically confront falsehoods of all kinds? Join the discussion!
