The Lower Germanic Limes has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021. With the Roman Praetorium in Cologne as the administrative seat of the Lower Germanic province, the late antique fort Divitia-Deutz and the camp of the Rhine fleet, the classis Germanican on the Alteburg, Cologne has three places of communication of this important World Heritage Site.
