Bowl turning in the open air? That's possible! At the Werkschule's summer workshop in the botanical garden in Oldenburg!

Inspired by the diverse shapes of the botanical garden, this intensive course is dedicated to turning bowls and dishes. You start with small shapes and gradually work your way up to a large salad bowl that can become a real eye-catcher on your dining table. The focus is not on speed, but on precise and mindful execution: repeating, improving, consciously engaging with the material and your own aspirations. Friedrun Fritzsche, master ceramist and experienced instructor, will accompany you individually, show you various design options and give you constructive impulses. Prerequisites are knowledge of centering and setting the base. At the end of each day, you will choose a bowl to be fired - an exercise in letting go and sharpening your eye for form and proportion. As a certified yoga teacher, Friedrun offers optional exercises for physical and mental centering.
