The British singer-songwriter comes to Germany for four shows on his second headline tour

In his music, Harry Lloyd aka Waiting For Smith celebrates life and follows his mission to make his audience feel joyful, free, relaxed and loved. His most successful track to date, "So Much Love", with its minimalist singer-songwriter sound, has become the Brit's mantra. But his thought-provoking ballad "Song For Grace" also made him famous through its use in the Netflix production "Vis a Vis". In addition to several singles, the musician released the EPs "Hopelessness of Love" (2021), "Trying Not To Try" (2022) and "Small Things" (2024). Waiting For Smith's debut album "Raised Up" was released on May 31, 2024 , which he promoted on his Raised Up Tour in spring 2024. The former solo musician has long since become a larger project with a full band. After a support tour for Isaac Anderson and a European tour supporting Alfie Jukes, Waiting For Smith is coming to Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg and Munich on his headline tour this fall.

Harry Lloyd's life is full of unexpected surprises and diversity. It was an unfortunate coincidence that he found his calling in music. First he spent two months traveling through Cuba on a motorcycle, then he moved to Paris, where he learned French in order to work as a ski instructor in the Alps. However, he broke his back in an accident and had to be resuscitated. At that moment, Lloyd experienced an epiphany. He promised himself that he would dedicate his life to music if he could walk again. While he was still recovering from his accident, he practiced playing the guitar in his hospital bed and held on to his inspiration. But even after his accident, his life remained turbulent. He first moved to Amsterdam before moving to South Africa for four months in search of mental health, where he rediscovered the joy of life that continued to inspire him. With his mission to touch people with his music, Lloyd has been writing gentle songs and emotional ballads under the stage name Waiting For Smith since 2017, touching his fans with personal lyrics that resonate worldwide.
