On April 17, 2025, the UT Connewitz will become a musical hotspot for all fans of diverse and powerful sounds! Three extraordinary bands - Congoroo, Fiona Eals and WAL - invite you to an unforgettable concert.

Congoroo (since 2015) combines alternative and grunge with a melancholic indie sensibility. Their new album "Dear Hurricane" shows the band oscillating between melancholy and euphoria, always organic and catchy. With powerful bass, drums and the two-part vocals of brothers Mathias and Stefan, they create anthems that not only move, but also inspire self-reflection.

Fiona Eals from Leipzig captivate everyone with their sound of grunge, alternative and indie rock. Live, the four musicians bring their unvarnished, dynamic songs to the stage in a rousing and passionate way, creating an intense, emotional experience.

WAL from Halle/Saale takes the audience into a sea of atmospheric indie rock, where rocking guitar riffs meet warm piano sounds and psychedelic synthesizers. Their music oscillates between powerful post-rock crescendos and gentle melodies - a unique experience.
