from right way down
The forest is a living organism, it grows, surges, breaks, transforms, an incessant process of germination and decay in the fragile balance of nature. Six extraordinary handstand artists create this atmosphere on stage, their bodies growing together, swaying, collapsing. This breathtaking choreography about the cycle of life and death redefines the art of handstand balancing in a fascinating collage of bodies. The traditionally solitary discipline becomes a shared form of expression, a collective force, a wild "forest" of arms, legs and bodies that breathe in and out in symbiosis with each other. You almost forget that the performers are almost constantly moving upside down - an incredible physical feat in itself. The collective was founded at the University of the Arts in Stockholm. All six acrobats work on different projects, but always come together to turn the world upside down.
