Waldsee LIVE attracts visitors to Uerdingen on the first weekend in July

From 4 to 6 July 2025, we will be launching our new event format for the whole family, which awaits you with great entertainment and a varied program. This weekend, our idyllic Waldsee lake in Uerdingen will be transformed into a vibrant hotspot with great live music, an exuberant atmosphere and a good dose of comedy. And in addition to a mega entertainment program, there will of course also be various treats and sparkling drinks for your taste buds - and all this at the most beautiful bathing lake around the Rhine city, which guarantees a vacation atmosphere with its unique beach feeling.

After-work party with guaranteed laughter - the Waldsee LIVE Comedy Night

The Comedy Night on Friday marks the grand opening of our first Waldsee LIVE event weekend. In the open air, the comedy duo Simon & Jan will kick off the event with mischievous entertainment at its best. With the two cabaret artists, grandiose text acrobatics meet melodic guitar riffs. So: grab a drink and prick up your ears - we'll ring in the end of the day with a gag offensive.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE - ROCK DJ and H.A.N.D. rock the Waldsee

Humorous highs on Friday, rocking lows on Saturday! On Saturday's Tribute Night, the stage will be duly rocked - with two nationally renowned tribute acts.

The evening's opener is H.A.N.D. - HAVE A NICE DAY, the Bon Jovi tribute band from Duisburg. Singer and multi-instrumentalist Heiko Ludwig (known from the cult band Crossroads) celebrates a musical journey through 40 years of rock history with his bandmates. Also on board: Dario Trobok on bass, Edi Van Dahl on guitar, Jozek Valjak on drums, Yvonne Allsopp with strong backing vocals and Daniel Luscher on keyboards. From Livin' on a Prayer to It's My Life and Bed of Roses - no classic from Jon Bon Jovi's creative phase is left out here. Goosebumps guaranteed!

Immediately afterwards, we won't give you any time to catch your breath. ROCK DJ, the energetic tribute band from Düsseldorf, takes over the stage and belts out Robbie Williams' greatest hits. Whether rock anthems like Let Me Entertain You or ballads like Feel or Angels - this show is loaded with pure energy and emotion, performed with a perfect blend of fidelity to the original and their own character.

Family Day with jumble sale and great supporting program attracts on Sunday

Sunday is all about the family. From 10:00 a.m., in addition to great flea market stalls with toys, clothes, kitsch and stuff, a colorful supporting program attracts young and old to our Waldsee. To make sure your legs don't get rusty during your leisurely stroll, the well-known children's song band Ingas Garten from Münsterland will provide danceable beats and cool lyrics with sing-along potential.

Our colorful family day with live music & dance, fun & games, hands-on activities, a flea market and a lovingly designed supporting program will not only put a smile on the faces of our little guests. Come along - we look forward to seeing you!
