A cooperation between TMD and Frauenkulturbüro NRW with the Goethe-Museum Düsseldorf

⏰ Evening program from 7:30 pm, admission from 7 pm (more detailed information will follow in mid-April) - the Goethe Museum is open until 10 pm, the TMD until 1 am

The night from April 30 to May 1 belongs to the witches. Because on this night, Walpurgis Night, they dance on the Blocksberg every year. But now they no longer have to dance in the sidelines - from this year, they will be dancing in the middle of Düsseldorf's Hofgarten!

Our queer-feminist Walpurgis Night at the Goethe Museum and the TMD in the Hofgartenhaus is both a party and a commemoration of all the women* who have been victims of misogynist violence. In their honor, the artists ZOE and Sophie Yukiko invite you to a procession from the Goethe-Museum to the TMD and ritual and prayer in the Hofgarten. Afterwards, we will talk to both of them at the TMD about their artistic interests in witchcraft. By the way, ZOE is a scholarship holder in the "Präsenz vor Ort" program of the Frauenkulturbüro NRW.

At the Goethe Museum, you can admire 16th century spell books and experience the witchcraft spectacle. You can then brew potions in the TMD's witches' kitchen and get to know witches and other mystical creatures in our special exhibition.

Let's feel the strength and power of the witches and dance the night away to the music of DJ T/Error!
