Warhaus plays more concerts in Germany with his fourth album

Alongside Stromae, Lost Frequencies and Gotye, artist Warhaus, Maarten Devoldere's solo project, is considered an indispensable Belgian export hit. In 2016, the singer/songwriter, who was previously mainly heard as co-singer and guitarist in the band Balthazar, launched his solo career with Warhaus. "We Fucked A Flame Into Being" was the title of his debut album that same year, which Devoldere took from the romance novel "Lady Chatterly". The album deals with interpersonal encounters and is supported by long-time musical colleague and life partner Sylvie Kreusch, who breathes a very special note into the wicked, dark Warhaus sound right from the start. Role models such as Nick Cave or Tom Waits can be heard between the lines of the two subsequent albums "Warhaus" (2017) and "Ha Ha Heartbreak" (2022), on which the Belgian continues his dark, mysterious and at times heavy cinematic sound. On November 22, 2024, Warhaus released his fourth work "Karaoke Moon", whose dreamy, reflective facet already shone through on the first single "Where The Names Are Real". Warhaus tells of his first great love in spoken word style, accompanied by haunting background vocals. Urgency has generally been a trademark of the Belgian right from the start, and it is something that is still present on album number four. It's a similar story with Warhaus' live shows: after coming to Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne with his new album in March, three more shows will follow in Osnabrück, Düsseldorf and Munich in December.
