"What does freedom mean to you?" was the question we asked as part of a photo competition in summer 2024. Everything from amateur photographers to artists and professionals was represented. Our question touched many people and made them think. Numerous images in the competition reflect the individual idea of freedom, while other photos show on a global level which liberal and democratic values need to be preserved. Twenty outstanding positions were selected for this exhibition and represent the different perceptions of freedom in moving images and stories.
