Nine friends, a wheelchair and a seemingly impossible mission. Together they conquer 256 kilometers on the Way of St. James. "what moves us" is a rousing story about friendship, freedom and the power of making the impossible possible by sticking together - an incomparable adventure.

What does it take to dare the impossible? For Tobias and his eight friends, it is friendship, courage and faith in each other that lead them on an extraordinary adventure: a 256-kilometer hike along the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Tobias, who was born with a physical disability and is in a wheelchair, would never have been able to complete this journey alone - but together they make it possible. What began as a "fantastic dream" became a reality thanks to a year of intensive planning and the determination of the group. The story is told from Tobias' perspective, accompanied by the different points of view of his friends: for some an adventure, for others a challenge or an expression of freedom. Their perspectives merge into a common force that allows them to surpass themselves time and again. The trail is full of challenges - steep climbs, burning sun, tired legs and countless blisters. The friends fight their way up to 25 kilometers a day, using a one-wheeled all-terrain wheelchair and pushing themselves to the limits of their endurance. "what moves us" is not a story about sacrifice or helpfulness - it is a story about taking things for granted. Tobias is not the "friend with a disability", but an indispensable part of the team. Tobi is the motivator who keeps reminding his friends why they set off. This movie touches and encourages. It inspires reflection and awakens a longing for friendship, adventure and freedom. It invites you to look at life from a new perspective. "what moves us" is an experience that reminds us how far we can go when we support and carry each other. As Tobias himself says: "You need courage and you need friends, and then you have the best experience you can have."
