We Live in Time

In the organizer's words:

Ambitious chef Almut (Florence Pugh) has her sights clearly set on the top rungs of the career ladder. Tobias (Andrew Garfield) has just gone through a divorce and needs to reorganize his life. Despite these completely different priorities, the universe brings the two together. The intoxication of their first, bewitching crush quickly develops into something more and nothing seems to stand in the way of a future together and starting a family. But when Almut is unexpectedly diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer, she realizes that life doesn't just hand out cakes, but also low blows. Together, Almut and Tobias have to decide whether they want to risk a long and exhausting course of chemotherapy and an operation with an uncertain outcome. Alternatively, she could accept the illness and spend the rest of her life with her family.
