In the organizer's words:

July 22, 2024 marks the eighth anniversary of the right-wing terrorist attack at the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum (OEZ) in Munich. We remember:
Armela, Can, Dijamant, Guiliano, Hüseyin, Roberto, Sabine, Selçuk and Sevda.

Their lives and stories, their murder for right-wing, racist motives and their relatives, the survivors and those affected must not be forgotten.

Once again, relatives of the victims, survivors and supporting activists have joined forces to remember and educate. As the Munich OEZ Erinnern initiative, we call on each and every one of you:

Let us overcome the darkness of lonely mourning with light for these nine and thus fight together for remembrance, enlightenment, justice and consequences!

STAGED READING
Actors will perform a staged reading written by the initiative. The reading will juxtapose various sources to provide insights into the state of the Enlightenment.

PANEL DISCUSSION
In a panel discussion, relatives and survivors of right-wing, racist and anti-Semitic attacks and deadly police violence will report. They will talk about the importance of support and continuity in their struggles.

MEMORIAL EVENT
It is important to participate in the commemoration event on the actual anniversary Monday, July 22, 2024, at 5:00 pm. In cooperation with the Munich OEZ Erinnern initiative, the City of Munich is once again organizing this year's commemoration. Relatives of the victims of the OEZ attack, the Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter, as well as other survivors and relatives of right-wing terrorist attacks will commemorate the nine murdered in speeches.
